A new name and more
Dear astro friends,
It’s been a while since I posted any astrology content. Partly this is because I’ve been very busy, and partly it’s because of the very intense undertaking I started in February 2022: studying Jyotish (Vedic astrology).
I recently passed my practicum in the very rigorous Science of Light Year 1 Vedic astrology program and have really fallen in love with the tradition I learned. Although I still love Western astrology, when it comes to natal charts, I believe Jyotish has the ability to look even deeper as well as offer healing, magic and transformation with its well-established remediation techniques. I won’t be leaving traditional Western astrology entirely behind – especially horary and electional astrology – but Jyotish will increasingly be at the heart of my practice and a large part of what I write about here.
I hope you’ll join me in this exploration of astrology at the crossroads between East and West, between mind and soul, between the people we’ve been and those we are yet to become.
