Making some changes

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that I’m making some changes here at Age of Air and going forward will no longer be doing regular astrological forecasts. I really would like this newsletter to be more a combination of astrology, tarot and magic, and doing regular forecasts has been making things too heavy on the astrology side.

Going forward, I plan to publish the following here:

• Guess the chart

• Moon cycles and suggested rituals

• “Understanding” content (e.g. Understanding the Sun, Understanding the Tower Card, etc.)

• Aspect of the month

• Auspicious election charts for starting new projects

• Suggested talisman rituals

• Various tarot readings (still figuring out what this might entail)

• Occasional personal piece (perhaps)

As before, the content will be a mix of podcasts and texts which I plan to publish once or twice a week. If there is anything missing from the list that you are especially interested in, please let me know.

If you’re still interested in receiving regular astrological forecasts, I suggest the following channels:

Acyuta-bhava Das

Acyuta’s approach is somewhat more spiritual than I usually personally prefer, but he is a very good, no nonsense astrologer who uses traditional hellenistic techniques in a way that is easy to understand and personal. He also teaches classes and offers readings.

Nina Gryphon

Nina’s astrological forecasts tend to focus more on mundane (i.e. country and world events) rather than personal astrology. She is a brilliant astrologer and also an adept astrological magician. I highly suggest checking out her Magical Elections monthly PDF, which is available for purchase on her website or to patrons at the highest tier on Patreon. She also offers readings.

Kelly Surtees

Kelly’s YouTube channel has great short videos about the aspect of the week, which I highly suggest. She also offers a subscription service and lots of interesting classes on her website, as well as readings.

The Astrology Podcast

The Astrology Podcast is what got me into traditional astrology in the first place. Chris Brennan publishes fantastic material there, but the absolute highlight in my opinion are the fantastic monthly forecasts.

On these videos/podcasts, Chris Brennan, Kelly Surtees and my teacher, Austin Coppock, go through the aspects/ingresses for the month ahead in an informative but very entertaining way. Although this is high level astrology, it’s still easy to follow and you’ll learn a lot. Since the forecasts tend to be several hours long, I suggest listening or watching in 30 minute segments because it can be a lot to take in all in one go.
